ONLY THE LOUD SECONDS ARE KEPT It does not record your home all night. When the level crosses your threshold it saves the 2 seconds before and the 3 seconds after, and nothing else. Tap to play it back and find out whether that was a chair scraping upstairs, a dog, or your own snoring.

FREQUENCY BREAKDOWN Two sounds can both read 65 dB and be nothing alike. A third-octave analysis separates a neighbour's subwoofer from an extractor fan.

A REPORT YOU CAN HAND OVER One summary per night: when it started, when it was worst, how many times it crossed the line. Share it with building management, the owners' committee, or the EPD.

YOUR RECORDINGS STAY ON YOUR PHONE No account and no login. Every clip and every session lives on your device, goes away when you delete the app, and is never uploaded. What does leave is anonymous usage counts — "someone started a session" — so I can tell which features are actually used. Every field in those counts is a number, a flag, or a fixed choice; there is nowhere to put text, so none of your recordings can ride along. The privacy policy spells it out.

STATED PLAINLY A phone microphone is not a measuring instrument. Readings are indicative and will not match a formal survey. The snore label only means "this sound repeats in a regular rhythm"; it says nothing about your health.
