Wavebay is the listening side of making a record: the mixes you are working on, in your pocket, in the car, and in front of the people whose opinion you want.

A/B WITHOUT THE GAP Two versions sit on decks A and B, and switching between them is instant and sample-locked. Same position in the song, no pause, no reload. You hear what changed instead of hearing the switch.

MATCH LOUDNESS Louder always sounds better, which is how a decision gets made for the wrong reason. Match Loudness brings both mixes to the same integrated loudness, measured to ITU-R BS.1770 when the file was uploaded, so the comparison is about the mix and not the level.

THE RECORD YOU ARE CHASING Keep a reference beside your own work. Play a track from Spotify, and switch to it the way you switch decks.

COMMENTS AT THE RIGHT SECOND Leave a comment at the exact moment you mean. It arrives pinned to that timestamp for everyone on the project, so the snare at 1:42 is a place you can go to rather than a thing you have to describe.

IN THE CAR A car is where a lot of mixes get their most honest listen. Your projects appear on the dashboard: pick a folder, pick a song, switch mixes, match loudness, all from the car's own screen and the wheel.

WHAT YOU NEED Wavebay is an account-based tool for people making records. Projects, songs and versions are set up in the Wavebay Workspace at wavebay.studio, and this app signs in and plays what is there. The Solo plan is free.

Wavebay also runs in any browser, and as an A/B plugin on the mix bus in your DAW.
