Hatching eggs takes 21 days of getting the details right — or 28, or 35, depending on the bird. Batch Companion keeps every one of those days on track. Pick a species, set your eggs, and the app builds the whole schedule for you: when to turn, when to candle, when to stop turning and raise humidity, and exactly when to expect your hatch. Built for backyard poultry keepers and homesteaders.

INCUBATION, HANDLED

• 9 species presets plus Custom — Chicken, Coturnix Quail, Bobwhite Quail, Duck, Muscovy Duck, Goose, Turkey, Guinea Fowl, and Pheasant — each with its own incubation length, temperature and humidity targets, candling days, and lockdown day.
• Day countdown — a progress ring shows "Day X of N," days to hatch, and the expected hatch date. Backdate the start date if your eggs are already set.
• Milestones timeline — set day, candling days, lockdown, and hatch day, with real dates and done/today/upcoming states.
• Turning reminders — daily notifications at times you choose; they stop automatically at lockdown.
• Candling alerts and results — a reminder on each candling morning; record fertile and clear counts and your expected hatch numbers update.
