THE DAILY CHALLENGE Every day there is a new board, the same one for everybody. Solve it and keep your streak going. The calendar shows the days you finished without holding the others against you.

FOUR REAL LEVELS Easy to warm up, Medium for every day, Hard when you want to take your time, and Expert if you feel like sweating. Every board is generated with a unique solution, and the difficulty is measured by the techniques needed to solve it, not by how many cells are left empty.

HINTS THAT TEACH When you get stuck, the hint doesn't just give you the number: it explains why. "Within row 3, the 4 can only go here." That way you end up actually learning the techniques: naked single, hidden single, pointing pair, hidden pair, naked triple, X-Wing and XY-Wing.

YOUR WAY • Five looks to choose from: Paper, Night, Press, Forest and Citrus. • Mistakes allowed: 1, 3, 5 or unlimited. • If you like, it won't even let you enter a wrong number. • Notes with automatic cleanup, highlights and counters you can turn off. • Undo and redo without limit.

SCORES Points for difficulty, time and streak, with the breakdown when you finish. Friend and global leaderboards through Game Center, and your best times always at hand.
