How It Works:

• Tap Play, then tap + to choose Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, or Master
• Tap any empty cell to highlight its row, column, and 3×3 box with peer wash
• Tap a number on the number pad to place it, or tap Notes to add pencil marks
• Tap Undo to reverse a move, Redo to bring it back, or Erase to clear a cell
• Tap the lightbulb to open Coach Mode and read the next-step explanation
• Tap Show me the cell if you want the board to jump to the right spot while still letting you place the digit yourself
• Tap Pause to freeze the timer and hide the board until you are ready to continue

Daily and Streaks: Today’s challenge is ready when you open the app. Every device gets the same puzzle for the same day, and the daily difficulty rotates through the week: Sunday Easy, Monday and Tuesday Medium, Wednesday and Thursday Hard, Friday Expert, Saturday Master.

Your Daily tab shows your current streak, best streak, and grace days remaining. The last 7 days strip marks solved and unsolved days, and Today is labelled clearly. Once you finish today’s puzzle, a solved badge appears and the button changes from Play to Review. The This week tile also shows puzzles solved, average time, and mistake count from your real history.

Coach and Learning: Coach Mode focuses on learning, not just revealing an answer. It currently explains Naked Single, Hidden Single, Naked Pair, Pointing Pair, and Hidden Pair on the live board. The first lessons teach the rule in a friendly voice, then become shorter after you have seen a technique a few times.

The Coach tab also tracks your fluency with a progress bar, introduction band, and counters for Seen, Unaided, and Stalls. If you have been getting stuck on one pattern, the weak-spot spotlight can suggest a 3-puzzle warm-up. On supported devices, the coach shows an on-device badge. On other devices, the app still gives a clear built-in explanation in the same style.

• Start a quick Easy board during a commute and resume later with your timer, notes, hint count, and mistakes intact
• Work through Hard, Expert, or Master puzzles when you want a deeper challenge
• Use the lightbulb after you stall on Hidden Pair or Pointing Pair to learn the logic behind the move
• Check your streak from the Lock Screen or open today’s puzzle from Control Centre
• Review your progress in the Coach tab to see which techniques you solve unaided and which ones still slow you down
