Telos: Meaning Through Motion

Telos is a personal growth app that helps you turn the things that matter to you into consistent action and visible progress. Instead of telling you what to pursue, Telos gives you the tools to define your own direction and track your movement over time.

As a Traveler, you create Aspects that represent the areas of growth that matter to you, such as fitness, knowledge, discipline, creativity, or confidence. You then create Quests—recurring actions and practices that help you move within those areas.

Completing Quests earns Experience, allowing your actions to accumulate into meaningful progression. As you gain enough Experience, you reach Cairns, Telos's level markers that represent how far you have traveled rather than how valuable or successful you are.

Quests can be customized around factors such as frequency, difficulty, significance, and progression. Telos also uses progression systems designed to prevent simple repetition from becoming an unlimited source of Experience, including experience curves, annual experience limits, excess-progress handling, and lifetime scaling for recurring Quests.
