Gravity & Wind is a physics-driven generative MIDI sequencer and performance controller for iPhone and iPad. Build evolving sequences with Timed generation, hold an exact population with Fixed mode, or tap the field to perform directly. Shape gravity, directional dual-noise wind, bounce, and velocity response, then turn floor impacts into quantized MIDI notes.

Choose pitches from a scale, held Channel 1 MIDI notes, or an automatic MIDI-with-scale-fallback mode. Lock the pitch setup while changing scenes, create bodies from Channel 2, and map performance controls through a single label-based MIDI Learn mode. Select MIDI input and output independently—even on different devices. Route Notes, scene-energy CC 1, Wind CC 2, Direction CC 3, and Off, Held, or chord-aware Automatic CC 64 Sustain. Continuous CC output runs at a smooth, fixed 30 Hz.

Use selectable CoreMIDI output in the standalone app or load the included MIDI-only AUv3 processor in a compatible host. Device motion can shape gravity and wind in both versions. Factory scenes, user scenes, favorites, host sync, Bluetooth MIDI, extended scales, and a configurable note range are included.

Gravity & Wind has no built-in sound source. Route its MIDI to a software instrument, hardware synthesizer, or DAW. No account, advertising, analytics, in-app purchases, or personal-data collection.
