HOW IT WORKS

Await reads the MTA's public real-time feeds directly on your phone and builds the departure board on-device. There is no middleman server, and your location never leaves the phone — it is used to pick the stations you can walk to, nothing more.

Settings has three optional tips. They unlock nothing: the whole app is free, and it stays that way whether you leave one or not. It is there for the people who want to say the board is worth something.

PRIVACY

Your location is read only while the app is open and only to choose nearby stations. It is never stored and never sent anywhere. There is no account, no analytics, and no tracking SDK. Tips are handled by the App Store — Await never sees your payment details, and keeps no record that you tipped.
