Cinephilia is a ranking app for people who love films and series and who have never once been sure whether something is a 7.4 or a 7.8.

You never type a score.

Instead you give a gut reaction (loved it, it was fine, not for me) and then answer a few quick "which one did you like more?" questions. Each answer halves the search, so placing a title among a hundred takes about seven taps. Your score comes from where it lands, which means it stays honest as your taste sharpens and your list grows.

TWO LISTS, KEPT APART Films and series are ranked separately, each with its own number one. Comparing a six-hour series to a ninety minute film never made much sense.

A REAL CATALOGUE Search every film and series on TMDB. Browse by genre, save things to a private watchlist, and see where you can stream, rent or buy a title in your country.

FRIENDS, WITHOUT THE NOISE Follow people by username and see what they made of the same titles — their score, and where it sits in their own list. No feed, no likes, no comments. Just whether the people whose taste you trust thought it was worth your evening.

YOUR LIST, YOUR RULES Your watchlist is always private. Your rankings are visible only to people you approve as followers, unless you choose to make them public. Block anyone, report anything, and delete your entire account from inside the app whenever you like.
