Cinefliq: What to Watch Next

You know the feeling. Twenty minutes of scrolling, three trailers, and you go to bed without watching anything. Cinefliq fixes the deciding, not the watching.

Swipe a card in one of four directions. Loved, watched, skip, or save it for later. That is the whole interface, and it is the whole app. Every swipe teaches it something: the tenth card is a better guess than the first, and the hundredth is better still.

DECIDE TOGETHER Start a room, send one link, and swipe the same titles as the person next to you or three time zones away. When you both want the same thing, you both find out at once. No reading titles out loud and waiting for a verdict.

WHAT YOU HAVE TIME FOR Tell it how long you have and what you are in the mood for, and it picks three. A film has to fit the time you gave it; a series only needs an episode that does.

BUILT ON WHAT YOU ALREADY PAY FOR Cinefliq shows where something is streaming where you are, and sends you straight there. It is not a streaming service and it never asks for your subscriptions or your passwords.

YOUR LIBRARY, SEARCHABLE Everything you decided on, on shelves you can filter and search. Rate what you have seen and your taste profile sharpens with it.

FREE, AND WITHOUT THE USUAL COST No adverts. No purchases. No analytics, no advertising identifiers and no tracking of any kind. It never asks where you are, it never reads your contacts, and it only opens your photos at the moment you tap to change your picture. It asks for the camera only to scan a QR code when you join a list, and nothing it sees is photographed, recorded or uploaded.
