Emulsion turns a sentence into a film simulation recipe your Fujifilm camera can actually shoot.

Describe the look you're after — "overcast Lisbon streets, faded, a whisper of green" — and Emulsion writes the whole thing: film simulation, white balance and its shift, dynamic range, highlight and shadow tone, color, sharpness, noise reduction, grain, Color Chrome Effect, clarity, ISO and exposure compensation. Then it explains why each value is where it is.

It all happens on your iPhone. No account, no server, no network — Emulsion works in airplane mode, in the field, with the camera in your other hand.

BUILT FOR YOUR EXACT BODY — 32 X-series cameras, from the X-Pro1 to the X-E5, X100 series included — A recipe never contains a setting your camera doesn't have: no Clarity on an X-T3, no Color Chrome Effect on an X-H1, no Nostalgic Neg. on a body that never shipped with it — DR200 and DR400 ISO floors, grain size, Monochromatic Color and custom slot counts all follow your body's real behaviour — Switch bodies and an existing recipe is refitted to the new one, with every adjustment listed

WRITTEN, NOT LOOKED UP — Every recipe is original, composed for your words. This is not a database of other people's recipes — "Why these parameters" explains the reasoning in plain language, so you learn the camera as you go — Tweak a finished recipe in one line: "warmer, less grain, keep the shadows open" — Pull down for a different interpretation of the same prompt — Scene chips — overcast, golden hour, night, indoor tungsten, harsh sun — sharpen the result

FROM PHONE TO CAMERA — Transfer mode shows one parameter at a time, very large, in exact camera-menu order. Hold the camera, tap through with a thumb, never lose your place — Assign recipes to your camera's custom settings banks and see your whole C1–C7 loadout at a glance

SHARE AND IMPORT — Share a recipe as a card that carries the entire recipe inside the image — Import someone else's card straight from a screenshot, and Emulsion refits it to your body — Export everything as plain files whenever you like

Emulsion requires iOS 26. Recipe generation uses Apple Intelligence and needs a compatible iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro or newer). On other iPhones the library, editor, custom slots, Transfer mode, sharing and importing all still work.
