KNOW THE NUMBER, THEN PUT THE PHONE AWAY

Every hole opens as a 3D satellite view from behind your tee, already framed, already pointed at the green. Yardages are measured off the map, not read off a scorecard.

Drag the target to where you're actually aiming — the dogleg, the layup, the water you have to carry — and the line splits into two live numbers: you to the target, target to the green. Par 3s snap to the flag. Inside 200 yards, the target snaps for you.

Walk the hole and the numbers follow you without the jitter. Divot throws out bad GPS fixes and holds the dot still when you're standing still.

Tap your score. Done. That's the entire flow if that's all you want from it.

Open More Options and you can log putts, a long first putt, greenside chips and where you chipped from, tee shot and approach direction, GIR, penalty shots and what caused them. Every question is a tile. You never type.

Fairways hit, and which way you miss. Putting split into 1, 2, 3 and 4+ putts. An approach dispersion wheel that shows where your irons actually end up. Short game with chip-ins and up-and-downs. Your best hole and your worst hole.

Add up to three others. Everyone plays their own tee, with their own yardage, rating and slope. Enter the group's strokes in one pass, then keep your own detail on your own phone.

Your playing partners don't need the app first. Add them by phone number and they get a text. When they sign up, their scores and photos are already waiting for them.
