Rail Route Manager

You are the railway dispatcher. The trains run on their own. You switch tracks, decide who goes first, and keep services on time. Each shift shows services, arrival gates, required stops, and expected times. Tap a switch diamond to change the route. If a train is on the switch, it is locked. Tap a train to hold it, then tap again to release it. Following trains slow down automatically. Trains coming toward each other do not. Two trains entering a single-track section from opposite ends can collide in seconds. Red chevrons warn you. A banner can show a meeting point. Send one train into a passing section or hold it back. Congestion can also stop an area. Ignore the warning and one service can be cancelled. Send a train through the wrong gate or past a required station and you get a penalty. Three incidents end the shift. Local services are balanced and often stop at stations. Express trains are fast, pay twice as much, and are less forgiving about delays. Freight trains accelerate and brake slowly, are long, and pay the most. Repair trains are slow, but they are the only ones that can deal with breakdowns. Rain, fog, snow, and storms mean you need to plan earlier. Snow almost doubles braking distance, while fog shortens the distance at which conflicts are highlighted. Tunnels hide trains behind a dotted marker, but the train still occupies the section. Bridges are single-track, and heavy trains cross them at half speed. Play through 36 shifts across six districts. Handle standard schedules, priority shifts focused on one named service, endurance shifts with continuous traffic and no schedule, and puzzle shifts where services appear at the gates at once. Endless mode builds traffic in waves, changes weather automatically, and continues until three incidents occur.
