Cascade Grotto is a falling-lozenge duel wrapped in the mineral pigments of a painted cave wall.

Slide and plunge descending lozenges down your side of the grotto, and line up three of the same numeral and pigment in a single row to dissolve them. Rare azure triples release a flying ribbon that sweeps your lowest row clean.

Every clear lets you fling an intrusion across to your rival. When one arrives at your wall you get a brief window to parry it back with a block resource or absorb it into the stack.

As a wall climbs near the top, its vermilion core lights up for a single reversal that clears the lowest three rows in a golden halo, so timing decides the grotto.
