Practice ATC radio calls out loud and get a verdict that does not wobble. A controller transmits, you key the mic and read back. Your transmission is graded element by element — callsign, runway, frequency, altitude, heading, squawk — on your device, with no network call and no model deciding how it feels today. Your readback is judged on meaning. The controller still speaks strictly by the regional standard, so what you hear stays correct. MISHEARD IS NOT A MISTAKE When speech recognition does not catch you, it is not scored against you. You get a neutral prompt and a retry, and it does not count.
