Filing a document usually means scanning in one app, exporting, hunting for the right folder, and inventing a filename. The naming drifts, the folders drift, and eventually it just doesn't get done.

DocHive is four taps: scan, pick a category, tap a few tags, done. The file lands at Category/Year/Month with a name that looks the same as every other one you have filed - so it is still findable in a year.

YOUR DOCUMENTS, YOUR STORAGE There is no DocHive account and no DocHive cloud. Files go where you tell them: a folder on your iPhone or in iCloud Drive, or your own server over WebDAV. Works with Nextcloud, Synology NAS, and any standard WebDAV server.

IT READS THE DOCUMENT SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO DocHive recognises the text of a scan on the device and suggests the category, the tags, and the date the document states about itself - so an invoice from last month is filed under last month, not today. It learns the senders you file, and gets better at it. Nothing is filed automatically. You confirm every one.

BUILT FOR A SERVER THAT ISN'T ALWAYS THERE A home server is not reachable from a train. A scan is written to the device before any upload is attempted, and it stays there until it has genuinely arrived - uploads continue with the phone locked, and retry on their own. A scan is never lost to a failed upload.
