Your car is boomy in one seat and thin in the next, and turning the bass knob has never really fixed it. That is not your stereo being bad. That is the car.

CarSweep measures what your system actually does and tells you what to set. No laptop, no measurement rig, no acoustics degree.

WHY A CAR IS SUCH A HARD ROOM Seats swallow the highs. Glass reflects the mids. The cabin is small enough that bass piles up in some spots and disappears in others. An EQ cannot fix what you cannot see, so most tuning is guessing.

HOW IT WORKS CarSweep plays a sweep through your stereo over Bluetooth and records it with the iPhone mic, or with a USB measurement mic if you own one. It computes the frequency response with an FFT and works out the correction from there. Everything runs on the phone.

YOUR CAR'S OWN EQ Your screen has five or six sliders, not a band grid, and a ten band suggestion is no help there. CarSweep knows how those controls are built, solves them together, and shows you the same row of sliders with a number on each. Profiles for Tesla Model 3/Y (standard and premium audio) and VW/Audi with MIB3, plus the classic bass, mid and treble set that fits almost any stereo.

CHECK THE EQ INSTEAD OF TRUSTING IT Most tools hand you a correction and stop there. CarSweep can play the sweep a second time with the correction already in the test signal and measure what your car does with it. If the result does not match the prediction, it says so and revises the numbers.

LIVE RTA Pink noise and a live third octave spectrum, so you can watch a band move while you turn the knob. Fast, slow or moving mic averaging, which evens out the cancellation you get in any single seat.

THE IPHONE MICROPHONE It is not a measurement microphone. It is good enough to find the problems that actually matter, and that is most of them. If you already own a UMIK-1 or something similar, plug it in and load its calibration file.

FREE AND PRO Free covers 250 Hz to 10 kHz, the classic bass, mid and treble controls, and band grids up to 8 bands.
