LIVE TRACKING, AND EXACTLY WHEN A shipment is only useful to the people waiting for it if they can see where it is. While a trip is under way, GCLogistics sends the driver's location to the two parties of that shipment — the carrier's dispatcher and the cargo owner — so they can follow the truck and estimate arrival, and so a delay at a border is visible rather than discovered on delivery day.

That requires location in the BACKGROUND: a truck runs for hours with the phone in a cradle and the screen off, and the position is worth nothing if it stops the moment the driver locks the phone.

It is deliberately narrow: • Only drivers. Carrier and shipper office staff use the same app and their location is never requested and never sent. • Only during a shipment. Tracking starts when a load is assigned to that driver and stops automatically at delivery — never before, never after. • The driver is told what is collected and why before the phone ever asks for permission, and can decline.

GCLogistics accounts belong to companies. Subscriptions are invoiced business-to-business and managed on the web portal by the company's account owner; the app itself sells nothing and contains no purchase flow.
