Sunbrink checks the actual brightness around you, and only genuine morning light ends the alarm. A lamp won't cut it, and neither will the snooze button — there isn't one.

Morning light within minutes of waking is one of the most-studied levers for better energy: it anchors your body clock, lifts morning grogginess, and makes falling asleep easier that night.
