Leave an iPhone or iPad near your dog, keep BarkPing open, and start monitoring. BarkPing recognizes dog sounds directly on that device. BarkPing can keep a short local clip for each logged detection so you can check what triggered it. Clips and microphone audio never leave the detecting device.

YOUR PRIVACY Audio is analyzed only on the monitoring device. Optional detection clips stay local, are never synced and are deleted with activity history. For remote household monitoring, BarkPing syncs event time, sound type, confidence, device type, pass expiration, active-device status and alert responses through the circle owner's private iCloud data. BarkPing has no advertising, analytics, custom account, or external notification backend.

A 30-Day BarkPing Pass activates monitoring throughout the 30-day period, remote transfer of detected events, shared status and activity, one switchable home device, and alerts for up to five recipients. The pass belongs to the linked household, not one physical device. It does not renew automatically, and buying early adds the next 30 days after the time already remaining.

BarkPing notifications depend on the monitoring device, internet connectivity, iCloud, and Apple notification delivery. BarkPing is a dog-training utility, not a guaranteed safety or emergency alarm.
