Stop Dog Barking: DogHush

DogHush listens for your dog barking and answers in your own voice.

Record a short command once: "Stop!", "Quiet!", whatever your dog already knows. Leave your iPhone in the room. When DogHush hears barking, it plays your voice back through the speaker within a second, while your dog is still barking rather than after they've stopped.

It's the cue your dog already responds to, without you having to be there.

TUNED TO YOUR DOG, NOT A PRESET:

Every dog and every room is different. A sensitivity slider with a live meter lets you see exactly how close a sound came to triggering, so you set the threshold by watching it rather than guessing.

DogHush also tells human voices apart from barking, so talking loudly near your phone doesn't set it off.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT ISN'T:

DogHush interrupts barking so you can redirect your dog. It is not training, and it doesn't address why your dog is barking, boredom, separation anxiety, a territorial response, or pain. Pair it with rewarding your dog when they settle, and see a vet or a certified trainer if the barking is frequent.

The high-frequency tone is optional and off by default. It's audible sound, not ultrasound: an iPhone speaker can't produce true ultrasound, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you a setting that does nothing. The in-app safety guide covers when not to use it at all.

DogHush only works while it's open and on screen. iOS doesn't allow apps to use the microphone in the background, so leave the app up, it keeps your display awake, and there's a battery-saver screen for long sessions.

YOUR RECORDINGS STAY ON YOUR IPHONE:

Bark detection runs entirely on your device. Your recorded command and your detection history never leave the phone, and there's no account to create.

SUBSCRIPTION:

DogHush requires a subscription to use. Start with a 3-day weekly free trial, then choose monthly or yearly, the price for your region is shown in the app before you confirm anything.
