Brain science, one idea a day
Start with cognitive bias, free. 147 lessons across 15 units on how the mind actually works, plus four games that test what you read rather than quiz you on it.
PsychVerse teaches psychology the way it is actually studied. One idea at a time, in order, with the evidence attached.
Fifteen units, 147 lessons: cognitive bias, memory, attention and perception, social psychology, influence and persuasion, emotion and motivation, the brain and the body, learning and conditioning, sleep and consciousness, developmental psychology, personality, thinking and intelligence, psychopathology, therapy and change, and research methods.
Every lesson is short enough to finish in one sitting and specific enough to be worth finishing. You get the study that made the idea famous, what it actually showed, and where it has since been challenged. Replication problems are named rather than glossed over.
WHAT IS INSIDE
A learning path
Units unlock in order, so each one builds on what you already know. Unit one, cognitive bias, is free and runs to nine lessons.
Four practice games
Ripple tests how many separate things you can hold in working memory at once. Crossroads puts you inside a clinical judgement and shows you the biases that got in. Deadline asks you to build something while your phone competes for your attention. Mosaic trains visual discrimination, four paintings at a time.
The atlas
Every lesson is filed under the brain region whose machinery it leans on, so finishing a unit inks in several regions at once. It is a study aid rather than a claim about storage, and it is meant to be argued with.
A pace, not a streak
There is a ceiling on how many new lessons you can take in a day, and then a rest. Spaced learning holds better, and nothing here is built to keep you scrolling.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Unit one is free, along with one run of each practice game. Premium opens the remaining fourteen units and unlimited practice, and lifts the sequential unlock so you can take the path in any order.
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. The yearly plan begins with a three day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings at any time.
PsychVerse is for learning about psychology. It is not therapy, and it does not diagnose or treat anything.
