Turn a real object into a 3D model, straight from your iPhone.

Scan 3D photographs your object from every angle and computes an accurate mesh using Object Capture, Apple's photogrammetry technology. Everything runs on the device: no internet connection, no account, no data sent anywhere.

GUIDED CAPTURE Place the object, then circle it slowly following the orbits shown on screen. The app shows in real time what is already covered and what is still missing.

A MESH READY TO PRINT A raw scan is never printable as is. The app repairs it for you: • vertex welding and removal of stray fragments; • hole filling, with a watertight mode that slicers expect; • surface smoothing that removes noise without eroding detail; • adjustable simplification when the file gets too heavy.

TRUE TO SCALE Models are measured at full size, 1:1. Dimensions are shown in centimetres, and you can force a target size before exporting.

EXPORT • STL — for 3D printing, exported in millimetres, the convention slicers expect (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio…) • USDZ — the only format that keeps the colour texture • OBJ and PLY — for your modelling software Sharing through the system share sheet and the Files app.

GALLERY Your scans stay on the iPhone: interactive 3D preview, rename, duplicate, delete.

HARDWARE REQUIRED Object Capture relies on the LiDAR Scanner. The app requires an iPhone 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max or any later "Pro" model, running iOS 17 or later. On an iPhone without LiDAR, scanning cannot start.

FOR GOOD RESULTS An object at least 3–5 cm across, a matte and textured surface, diffuse and even lighting. Glass, mirrors, chrome and very glossy plain surfaces do not reconstruct.
