Qurioh

Qurioh is a travel journal that writes itself.

Snap a photo of anything that makes you curious — an old building, a strange plant, a dish on someone else's table, a monument you drove past — and Qurioh identifies it and writes you a short, engaging story about what it is. Every find is saved to a searchable journal you'll still be flipping through years from now.

WHY QURIOH EXISTS

Everyone has done this: on holiday, you see something interesting, take a photo, and promise yourself you'll look it up later. You never do. It gets buried in a camera roll with three hundred other travel photos, and the curiosity dies. Qurioh is the app that catches the curiosity — and the story — in the moment.

HOW IT WORKS

• Tap the compass. Point at anything. Take the photo. • A few seconds later, a card appears: what it is, when it was made, who made it, what makes it interesting. Written like a great local guide, not an encyclopedia. • Every card is saved to your journal, tagged with the place and date, fully searchable ("that blue building in Lisbon", "the temple with the elephants").

WHAT'S IN A CARD

• A one-line answer to "what is this?" • A pull-quote sized surprising fact — the thing you'll want to tell a friend • A row of scannable facts: when it was built, what style, what material • A full story you can expand when you have time to read • The photo you took, framed and taped into the page

FOR TRAVELLERS, AND EVERYONE ELSE

Qurioh started as a travel app but it works anywhere. A church on your walk home. A dish at dinner. A plant in a neighbour's garden. Anything you'd normally photograph "to look up later," and never do.

SHARE WHAT YOU FIND

Any card can be sent as a postcard — a beautifully typeset image with the photo, the surprising fact, a postmark, and your Find Nº. Post it to Instagram Stories, send it to a friend on WhatsApp, or keep it for yourself.

WHAT QURIOH WON'T DO

• Send you constant notifications • Sell your data (there's no data to sell — Qurioh doesn't collect any) • Require an account or a login • Show ads
