YOUR WORDS STAY YOURS Entries are written to storage on your device. There is no server to send them to and no account to create. Export everything to plain text, Markdown or a full backup — free, always — because a diary you cannot take with you is not really yours.

WRITTEN AT NIGHT Nightink is dark by default, because that is when people actually write. Choose from eleven covers, nine papers, five writing hands and six inks named after real fountain pen inks.

A DAY IN ONE TAP Mark how the day went with a single tap — ink swatches, faces, weather or hearts. Add a title, a photo, tags and stickers if you want them. Or just the mark, if that is all today deserves.

IT COMES BACK TO YOU On this day brings back the same date from every year before it. Your year in ink shows twelve months as a single picture, coloured by how each day felt. In numbers counts what you have built up — words written, your longest run of days, the weekday you write on most.

SEAL A LETTER Write something to yourself and choose a date. It stays shut until then, and you get a nudge on the morning it opens. A year out, five years out, or the day before a birthday.
