Nilora

Nilora is the color accessibility workbench every designer and developer needs. Check whether your palettes survive all eight forms of color vision deficiency — from common red-green blindness to rare total achromatopsia — and ensure every design you ship is truly inclusive.

Simulate the world as others see it. Point your camera at any design, mockup, or real-world scene and watch it transform through eight CVD simulation filters in real time. A draggable A/B split lets you compare normal and simulated views side by side, so you can spot problem pairs before your users ever do. Save photo checks with notes to document your accessibility audits and track progress over time.

Build and manage a palette library with confidence. Nilora scores every palette against WCAG 2.2 contrast standards, flags stops that collapse into indistinguishable colors under CVD, and surfaces pairwise contrast ratios at a glance. One tap of the Fix It button nudges a color's lightness until it clears the AA or AAA threshold — no guesswork required. Professionally curated starter kits like Okabe–Ito, Viridis, and IBM Design Safe give you instant CVD-safe foundations to build from.

Level up your color literacy with the built-in Vision Types guide — complete with prevalence stats, confusion-pair demonstrations, and a five-question quiz. Whether you're crafting data visualizations, auditing a UI for compliance, or simply curious about how the world looks to the 300 million people living with color vision deficiency, Nilora gives you the tools to see color through every eye.
