Analyze Water & Log Your Catch
ENTER CONDITIONS, SEE WHAT FITS
Describe where and when you are fishing. Select the waterbody type, current strength, season, water temperature, wind, atmospheric pressure, depth, clarity, and bottom type. In winter, toggle ice period mode for adjusted calculations. The app runs a local analysis across twelve freshwater fish species and ranks them by how well each one matches the conditions you entered.
TWELVE FISH PROFILES
The built-in catalog covers perch, pike, zander, roach, bream, crucian carp, common carp, tench, catfish, chub, rudd, and ruffe. Each profile carries authored data on preferred habitat, seasonal behavior, temperature range, depth, and feeding patterns. All content is original — no copied databases or branded materials.
MATCH SCORE AND FACTORS
Every fish receives a score from zero to one hundred based on a weighted calculation of your input parameters. Tap any result to see which factors pushed the score up, which were neutral, and which brought it down. The result screen includes a clear note that scores represent an informational index, not a catch prediction.
LOG YOUR ACTUAL CATCH
After the trip, open the saved analysis and add what you actually caught — species, quantity, and notes. Your real results are stored alongside the conditions so you can compare expectations with outcomes over time.
PERSONAL PATTERNS
Once you have logged enough entries for a species — at least five — the app starts showing your personal patterns on the detail screen. These are drawn strictly from your own journal data and displayed separately from the base score so you can see how your local experience lines up with the general model.
JOURNAL AND HISTORY
Every saved analysis becomes a journal entry. Browse past entries, search by keyword, edit catch results, or delete entries with a confirmation step. Deleting or editing a catch recalculates your personal statistics automatically.
WINTER MODE
Toggle ice period when fishing through frozen water. The algorithm applies separate winter rules that adjust scoring for under-ice behavior, reduced activity, and cold-season feeding patterns.
NOT A CATCH FORECAST
This app provides an informational assessment of how well conditions match each species profile. It does not guarantee results, predict bite activity, or replace local knowledge and experience.
