Waterlogged is a fishing logbook that does the paperwork for you. Snap a photo or drop a waypoint and the app records the time, location, tide stage, weather, water conditions, and moon phase — you just add the species and any notes worth keeping.

The more you log, the more it shows you:

• HOTSPOTS — a private heat map of your own water, scored by how closely right-now conditions match the conditions you've actually caught fish in. Nothing is shared; your spots are yours.

• PATTERNS — plain-English reads on what separates your catches from your blanks: tide stage, water temperature, pressure, wind, moon, time of day.

• CONDITIONS — hourly and 10-day forecasts, NOAA tide charts with gauge-by-gauge control, river flow, reservoir levels, salinity, and water temperature for any spot you save.

• JOURNAL & HISTORY — your full logbook with photos, species breakdowns, and a story view of every trip. Log the empty-handed trips too ("skunked") — they sharpen the patterns.

• BUILT FOR THE WATER — one-handed logging, big touch targets, works offline in the field and syncs when you're back in signal.

An account is optional: everything logs locally without one. Sign in to back your catches up to the cloud and use the same logbook on any device. Optional spot privacy encrypts your spot locations so only you can read them — not even us.

Coverage varies by state: some publish detailed data, others little or none. • Tide and salinity features apply to coastal waters; Inland mode focuses on the signals that matter in fresh water. • Weather, tide, and water data come from public sources and can occasionally be delayed or unavailable.
