HOW A ROAST GOES HERE Hit Charge and the timer starts at 0:00. Punch in the temperature your roaster is showing, as often or as rarely as you like. When first crack starts popping, hit the big button. One tap, no form, no time picker — and if you hit it too early, undo it right there. Hit it again at second crack. Drop when the beans are where you want them, and the timer stops: total time and DTR are added up, and the batch card is made. The screen stays on the whole time the timer is running.

BY HAND, ON PURPOSE Nothing here measures for you and nothing listens in. You read the roaster, you punch in the number, you hear the crack and you tap. CrackLog shows you DTR and yield, and it never tells you whether the roast was good. Roast level is your call, made with your eyes, ears and nose.
