Aquasition: Pool Service

Aquasition is the app your technicians carry from stop to stop. The office runs the company on the web; this is the phone in the truck.

It opens on today's route: every pool in order, the gate code on the row before anyone gets out of the truck, and a bar showing how many stops are left. Tap a stop and the whole job is on one screen. Work the checklist, enter what you measured, enter what you poured in, photograph the pump that is leaking, leave a note for the office, and close it out.

All of it saves on the phone the moment you tap it, not when the signal comes back. Aquasition writes to the device first and uploads afterward, so an equipment pad behind the house or a gated community with no reception does not change whether the morning was recorded.

TODAY'S ROUTE

• Every stop for the day in route order, with the street address and the gate code on the row
• A week strip for looking back at yesterday or ahead to Friday
• A progress bar for what is done and what is left
• On-demand stops kept separate from the scheduled ones
• A banner that always says whether your work has reached the office

AT THE STOP

• Directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps, and one tap to call the customer
• Access instructions above the work, so you know about the locked gate before you park
• A checklist you tap through
• Readings and chemical dosages on a number pad, using your company's own types and units
• Photos from the camera, each marked to show whether it has uploaded or is still on the phone
• A note for the office, and the option to email the owner along with it
• Finish the stop, or skip it with a reason: gate locked, dog out, customer request, weather

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL

• The route, the stops, the customer list, work orders, and the map all read from the phone, not the network
• Every entry is queued the instant you make it and leaves the queue only once the server confirms it
• Uploads keep going while the app is in your pocket
• Anything the office refused or changed is listed by name, with a retry and a choice of which version to keep
• The app will not let you sign out while work is still sitting on the phone

CUSTOMERS

• The customer book on the device, searchable by name, phone, email, or street
• Pools, water bodies, equipment with model and serial numbers, gate codes, and notes
• Service history with past readings, dosages, checklists, and photos
• Invoices, balances, and files for the people whose role allows it

WORK ORDERS AND JOBS

• Repairs, service calls, and green-pool cleans that are not on the route
• Create one in the field, schedule it, describe the work, mark it finished
• Jobs from approved quotes, with their totals and status

MAP

• Today's stops as numbered pins, colored by status
• Tap a pin for directions or a phone call

• Team members, roles, and permissions
• Company settings, service types, checklists, and work-order types
• Products, tax, notification, and invoice settings

ACCOUNTS Aquasition is a companion app to the Aquasition web software that pool-service companies run their business on. A company needs an Aquasition account before its technicians can sign in here. If your company already runs on Aquasition, ask the office for your sign-in. If it does not, any pool-service company can create a free account at getaquasition.com. This app does not offer subscriptions, purchases, or billing, and it does not work as a standalone product.
