GPS manhunt across your city
Hide and Seek, but the board is your city.
One team hides. Everyone else hunts. The hiders get a head start to disappear into the streets, then the seekers are released. Either the seekers reach the hiders in person, or the hiders outlast the clock.
HOW A GAME WORKS
• The host draws a play area on the map. Everything inside is fair ground.
• The hiders get a head start, then the chase begins.
• Reveals go out on a timer the host sets, alternating between a photo of the hiders' surroundings and a pin on their exact location. Hiding is easy. Staying hidden is not.
• The seekers close in on the newest reveal.
• Reaching one hider in person catches the whole hider team. No button saves you.
GETTING EVERYONE IN
In the same room, the game shows up on their phone with nothing to type. Further apart, send the link, read out the five-digit code, or let them scan the QR.
DARES THAT GIVE YOU AWAY
The host can hand the hiders up to 10 tasks to clear before time runs out, each one confirmed with a photo the seekers get as well. Push-ups in a public square. A cartwheel in front of strangers. Every task cleared tells the seekers where you have been, and leaving one unfinished hands them the win.
Five packs to choose from: Tourist trail, Daredevil, Wholesome, Chaos and Pub crawl. Pub crawl is for adults, and a phone has to clear an age check before it can even read those dares.
BREAK A RULE, PAY FOR IT
Leave the play area and every seeker gets a ping with your position. After each reveal the hiders hold still for the freeze, so the hunt always picks up a fresh scent.
CAN BE PLANNED AHEAD
Book a game for Friday night, set a meetup place, and let everyone confirm they are coming.
LIVE ACTIVITY
Your lock screen carries the clock, the next reveal and what you owe next.
AFTER THE GAME
Look back at the recap: a map of the chase you can scrub through, every reveal in order, the tasks cleared, and how the game ended.
PLAY SAFE
On The Run happens in real streets. Watch the traffic, respect private property, and keep your eyes up.
REPORTING AND BLOCKING
Hiders send photos the other team sees. Report a photo or a player from inside the game and we act within a day. A block goes further: their name and every photo they sent leave your feed on the spot, and the two of you stay out of each other's games from then on. Settings, Safety, Blocked players is where you lift one.
Requires location access, including in the background while a game is running. No account, no email, no password. Two players or more, and it gets better with every one you add.
