Weigh by the gram, with batch weight and dilution on every card. Follow the maceration pipeline one stage at a time. Set a check schedule and a quiet reminder for when a composition is ready to smell. Tally the small repeated touches: weeks rested, shakes given, blotter checks, filter passes.

THE SHELF Keep your material shelf honest. Track absolutes, tinctures, alcohol, blotters and vials, each with its own re-order floor, so you know before the orris runs out mid-batch.
