Noty gives your Outline instance the interface it never had on a phone.

The list and the notes stay documents of yours, on your own Outline. Noty is the way to work with them on the move: tap to tick, drag to reorder, write without thinking about markdown.

TASKS • A real checkbox, with haptic feedback • Reordering by dragging the row • The document's headings become collapsible sections • A task moves from one section to another from the ⋯ menu • Automatic saving, with an indicator telling you when it reached Outline • Pull-to-refresh that saves before it reloads • The document stays a document: lines that aren't tasks are never reformatted

NOTES • Recent documents, full-text search, filter by collection • Notes inside notes: Outline's own tree, sub-pages opening from the chevron • A block editor like Outline's on the web: always editable, markdown interpreted as you type • No markdown symbols on screen: bold is bold, a link is a link • Images from the library, shots from the camera, and attachments of any kind

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Every account gets its own private collection, holding its todo list and its notes. Nothing is visible to anyone else until you share it.

YOUR OWN OUTLINE ACCOUNT OAuth 2.0 with PKCE: the app writes as you, tokens stay in the phone's keychain, and no secret ever ships inside the app bundle. Your notes don't pass through us: they travel between the phone and your Outline.

SHARING Per-person invites, with an explicit choice between "can read" and "can edit"; a public link with a switch and a revoke button; whole collections shared in one go. You send the invite yourself — mail, WhatsApp, messages — and it carries a link that opens the app at the right place.

Reading, writing, searching and creating notes is free, with no time limit. The subscription turns on sharing, and nothing else.

AN OUTLINE INSTANCE IS REQUIRED Noty is a client for Outline (getoutline.com), self-hosted or cloud. Without an account on an Outline instance there is nothing to open: the app hosts no documents of its own.
