PC Streaming for the Big Screen

Starlight TV is a local-network PC streaming and remote control app for Apple TV. Connect to a PC you own, bring its desktop and installed apps or games to the big screen, and control them with Apple TV Remote or a compatible game controller.

Bring your own PC to the living room • Automatically discover computers on the same local network, or add one using its local IP address or host name • Pair with a PIN and manage multiple personal computers • Browse apps and games already installed and configured on your PC • Launch, resume, disconnect from, or end the current stream • Use Wake-on-LAN when supported by the host

Clear, responsive streaming • Choose from multiple resolution, frame rate, and bitrate settings • Support for H.264, HEVC, and AV1, depending on Apple TV and host capabilities • HDR support with a compatible Apple TV, display, codec, and host • System rendering and high-performance Metal rendering • MetalFX scaling and sharpening on compatible devices • Live performance information including resolution, codec, latency, packet loss, bitrate, and FPS

Requirements • Apple TV and the user-owned PC must be on the same local network • A compatible streaming host service must be installed and configured on the PC • A compatible controller is recommended for games; Apple TV Remote supports basic app navigation • Streaming quality, latency, and available features depend on the network, host, Apple TV, display, and connected accessories

This app does not provide a cloud PC, cloud gaming catalog, games, or other digital content, and it contains no purchase flow. The app list only shows content already installed and configured on the user’s own PC. All software is executed and rendered entirely on that PC.
