Tonic FX — Multi-Effects

An effects rack to build and reorder: drive, modulation, motion, delay, reverb, EQ and dynamics — as an AU/AUv3 effect and a standalone app.

An effects rack you build yourself. Tonic FX is an Audio Unit (AU and AUv3) effect for GarageBand, Logic, AUM, Cubasis, Drambo and any host — and a standalone app that runs your keyboard, guitar or mixer through the same rack.

A RACK YOU BUILD — AND REORDER Every effect has its own on/off, grouped by category: add one with a tap, then drag the cards to rearrange the chain. Order changes the sound — a wah before the distortion is throaty, after it screams — and it is saved with the preset.

TWENTY-FOUR EFFECTS • Drive — Overdrive, Distortion (hard, asymmetric and fuzz), Amp Sim with 6 models and cabinet, Wavefolder/Fuzz, Bitcrush and Ring Modulator. • Modulation — an 8-mode Chorus (vintage through string ensemble), a Phaser with four voicings from the gentle 4-stage pedal to a slow 10-stage pad sweep, Flanger, Vibrato, Detune, a Pedal Wah you can put under an expression pedal, and an Auto-Wah that breathes with your playing. • Motion — a Rotary speaker cabinet with two rotors, Auto-Pan, Tremolo and a Stereo Widener with a mono maker that keeps the bass centred. • Time — a tempo-syncable ping-pong Delay, and a Reverb with nine spaces: room, hall, cathedral, plate, spring, shimmer, cloud, gated and swell — plus Freeze, to hold a chord forever and play over it. • Dynamics & EQ — Compressor, Limiter, Noise Gate, a musical 5-band EQ and a 12-band graphic EQ, each with six one-tap starting points you can overwrite with your own.

BUILT FOR PLAYING Full MIDI Learn maps any hardware knob to any control. Tempo sync from your host — or a built-in tap — keeps delay and modulation in time. Colour-coded scenes A–F, a preset library with favourites, and factory presets to get you moving fast. A clean, tactile "pro hardware" interface, native on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
