QuotaFX (AUv3)

QuotaFX is a hands-on performance-effects instrument for iPhone and iPad. Run it as a standalone app, or load the AUv3 on a channel or bus inside COMPA, AUM, Cubasis, Drambo, Loopy Pro, Logic Pro for iPad, GarageBand, or another Audio Unit host.

TWO PERFORMANCE MODES

SP Mode keeps the focused hardware-style workflow: choose one effect, work with six consistent CTRL macros, and jump between sixteen assignable favorites. Browse the complete library through the MFX pages, and choose whether the on-screen MFX button works as Hold or Latch.

Chomp Mode is a simultaneous multi-effect engine. Its 48 assignable positions process in visible top-left to bottom-right order. Ride the complete tile with a finger or mouse, combine several effects at once, use HOLD when you want a gesture to stay active, and show 8, 16, 32, or all 48 positions with paging that never changes the underlying effect chain.

TUNE THE WAY EACH RIDE MOVES

Choose any position, assign an effect from the full catalog, move or swap complete positions, and map up to four parameters to one finger movement. Set From and To endpoints, reverse a ride by swapping them, and choose Linear, Fine, Punch, Smooth, Log, or stepped response.

Save named Chomp setups in a shared on-device library, load them in another host, and export or import setup files between devices. Choose an optional starting setup for new instances. Existing projects always restore their own saved tuning.

48 EFFECTS

The library covers filters, isolators, delays, reverbs, modulation, distortion, lo-fi texture, pitch, repeats, freezes, throws, tape movement, glitch and performance transitions. Version 1.3 adds:

• Shuttle - ride captured audio through reverse, stop, normal speed and double speed.
• Reflex - transient-reactive pre-hit capture and repeat.
• Wrap Filter - resonant bands that travel and wrap through the spectrum.
• Contour - shape a sound between attack and body.

MAKE SP MODE YOURS

Set every CTRL to a knob, vertical fader or horizontal fader, or choose a different shape for each of CTRL 1 through 6. Show boolean controls as direct ON/OFF buttons or Classic 50% controls. Set every supported effect switch to Toggle or Momentary together, or change only the switch owned by the selected effect.

SCOPE GLASS

See the processed signal behind the performance surface with Peaks, Wave, Bars, Spectrum, Vector, Depth, or Trace. Choose clear, glass, or solid Chomp tiles, then use a flat, gradient, rainbow, or custom one-to-three-color scope palette.

RECORD WITHOUT A HOST

Connect a class-compliant USB-C groovebox or audio interface, monitor through the selected output, perform through QuotaFX, and record the post-effect result directly as a 24-bit WAV. Export the newest take from Settings or find it later in Files.
