GPX Vault

GPX Vault is a GPS track recorder and waypoint manager for hiking, biking, and any trip where you want a record of your route. Recording works fully offline, with no account required. Download map areas in advance to browse them offline too.

RECORDING • Live stats banner shows distance, elevation, and speed while you record • Save recordings as local GPX files with configurable auto naming, including date pattern formats and UTC or locale options • Continue a saved track later, right where you left off • Tap a track on the map for an instant summary: distance, duration, elevation gain • Live Activity and Dynamic Island show recording status on the Lock Screen

CREW TRACKING • Ride with your crew: every rider's live position and name on your map, with no cell service needed • Works over a small Meshtastic LoRa radio paired to your phone (radio sold separately) • Send short messages and shared waypoints to the whole crew straight from the map • Emergency beacon alerts the whole crew when a rider needs help • Fit Crew mode keeps the whole crew on screen while you ride

WAYPOINTS • Drop waypoints with a button, a long press, or automatic drops as you move • Name, edit, delete, or drag any waypoint to move it • Tap a waypoint for a live distance readout from your current position

MAPS • Choose OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, OpenSeaMap, or Esri World Imagery, with OpenTopoMap as the default • Download offline map areas (OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, OpenSeaMap) for use without a connection, with background downloads and retry for failed tiles • Check tile cache size and clear it any time • Locate button cycles Follow Me, Off, and Fit Crew; Follow Me auto resumes after a pause • Landscape layout with your stats down the sides, plus a Lock Landscape setting for bar-mounted phones • Direction of travel arrows, scale bar toggle, keep screen on toggle, imperial and metric units • Activity type picker (Automatic, Automotive navigation, Fitness, Other navigation, Flight) tunes GPS accuracy • Pick a custom folder for your GPX files

VAULT (OPTIONAL, SIGN IN REQUIRED) • Cloud folders and nested subfolders for tracks and waypoints, plus a Trash you can restore from • Upload local GPX files to Vault, download Vault items back to your device • Rename, move between folders, edit description, or move items to Trash • Show on map toggle for tracks, waypoints, and folders, synced with the GPX Vault web app • Publish a track or waypoint to Open Tracks to share it site wide, or browse and copy what others have published • Open Tracks overlay shows published tracks and waypoints on your map • Delete your account any time from settings
