Since 2018, Italian law requires B1-level Italian from anyone applying for citizenship by residence or by marriage. You prove that level with a recognised certificate: CILS B1 Cittadinanza (Università per Stranieri di Siena), PLIDA B1 (Società Dante Alighieri) or CELI 2 (Università per Stranieri di Perugia).

PASS EVERY SKILL, NOT JUST "SCORE POINTS"

The citizenship certificate is decided skill by skill: listening, reading, writing and speaking must each reach the minimum set by your chosen body — a good total is not enough if one skill falls below the threshold (there is no carry-over between skills). The app estimates your result on exactly that logic, per skill, so you know precisely where to focus.

EVERY ANSWER, EXPLAINED

Each question comes with an explanation that points to the key sentence in the document (audio or text) and shows why the other options are wrong — the elimination method that makes the difference on exam day.
