Pistonly is an AI mechanic. Most OBD2 scanners show a code and leave you to Google it. Pistonly reads the code, checks it against your car's service history, and tells you the likely cause and what to look at next.

HOW THE AI DIAGNOSTICIAN WORKS • Add your car by VIN. Pistonly fills in the make, model, generation and engine. • Keep a simple service book: what was done, when, and which parts changed. • Add fault codes live from an adapter, or type them in from any diagnostic report. • The AI works through your history and ranks the likely causes, then gives you an ordered checklist. It also says which past repairs helped and which didn't. • No history yet? It asks a few questions and turns your answers into a checklist and a service record. • Tick items off as you fix them, and the diagnosis gets sharper. • Every explanation comes two ways: plain language, or full mechanic detail. Tap to switch. • Found something under the hood? Type in what you measured and it re-runs the diagnosis. • Your garage keeps every fault against the right car, with a log of what you checked.
