HOW IT WORKS

1. Using a wireless ELM327 OBD-II adapter (Bluetooth/BLE, sold on most retail platforms for as little as $25. Make sure it is compatible with iPhones.)
2. Plug it into your OBD-II port (found under the dashboard on all US cars and light trucks since 1996)
3. Open CarScan, connect, then either take a snapshot, or record a continuous log stream, attach to the chat, add additional context like sounds, smells, vibrations, then start your diagnosis
4. Start asking follow up questions and get guidance on how to collect and upload more data (snapshots or log streams) to diagnose the issue
5. Ask for a detailed health report on your car's engine The more context you can give the better, i.e. "Car starts but idles rough", "Exhaust smells like fuel when I start the car", "Noises coming from engine bay"
