Heatwave outside? ShadeWalk is a walking map that computes building shadows and guides you along routes with less sun. Compare exposure in minutes before you step outside.

● Compare minutes in sun Choose a start and destination to compare the shortest route with a shadier route. "N min in sun" shows the tradeoff clearly, while the time slider previews how shadows move through the day.

● Search naturally while traveling Type a place, station, landmark, or exit in your language and choose from familiar suggestions. Zoom in for station exit numbers and search phrases such as "Châtelet Exit 12" or "Hakata Nishi 4".

● Check the destination before you go See the current local air-quality index and a short activity recommendation in the route card. At supported destinations, a nearby landmark helps you recognize the final approach.

● Walk across 58 covered areas Use ShadeWalk in 12 cities across Korea (Seoul, Busan, Jeju and more), 21 areas in Japan, and 24 world destinations including Paris, Barcelona, London, Rome, Bangkok, Taipei, and New York. Korean building heights come from official government survey data.

● Keep walks useful Plan a closed neighborhood loop, save frequent routes, review steps and shade, complete shade missions, and share how many minutes of sun you avoided. Walk records (time, distance, steps, calories) sync to Apple Health. With the screen off, progress stays on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island (supported devices). Tap “Walk again” to repeat routes you love.

● Honest by design Shadows are estimates based on building heights, street trees where available, the sun's position, and the selected time. Cloudy weather, missing data, and estimated heights are shown honestly. Location stays on your device for route calculation.
