Tumblofuse

Tumblofuse is a falling piece puzzle built on a small physics chamber.

Release a piece from above the vessel and let gravity take over. Pieces are round and heavy, so they roll, wedge and lean on one another. When two identical faces touch, they merge into the next piece along the ladder, the pile shifts to fill the gap, and one careful landing can set off a long chain of consequences.

The ladder runs from the smallest numeral face all the way to the final ring. Reaching that last ring pays a large bonus and clears both pieces away, buying back precious room in a crowded chamber.

Two odd pieces change the shape of a run. The breeze sorter rocks the whole vessel the moment it lands, tidying a stack that has gone crooked. The scarlet seal merges with whatever it touches first and promotes that piece one step up the ladder, which is the fastest way to rescue a lonely face with no partner anywhere in the pile.

Three tables are offered. A generous vessel with unlimited pieces, a slender chamber that punishes a careless landing, and a rationed table where a fixed number of pieces must earn every point they can.

Three relics sit in the tray. Exchange the waiting piece, lift a single stranded piece straight out of the stack, or agitate the entire chamber so the pile settles flatter. Relics are restocked each day and earned again at score milestones inside a run.

A dashed ribbon marks the safe height. A piece may cross it while bouncing, but if any piece comes to rest above it the chamber is judged full and the run ends.

The floor is reshaped once every calendar day, so yesterday's routine may need a new landing plan. Every run is written into a chronicle with its score, its highest piece and its fusion count, and the chamber itself can be refitted in a range of materials as your best mark grows.
