Use your iPhone or iPad camera to capture your favourite recipes. Take a photo of the finished dish, another photo of the ingredients and the last one of the method. The application will automatically convert the ingredients and method to text while maintaining an image of the dish. We will even suggest a nice title for the dish, although you can change this before saving the recipe.

If you are like me you probably have a collection of photographs of recipes that you use regularly. However, often the resolution is not great, the lighting is poor and you may have the recipe but no picture of the finished dish. Now I can take pictures of the dish and recipe - the OCR makes all of the text readable. The OCR (AI) even works with reasonable hand writing samples. Now you can capture those recipes, with an image and real text. I'm now storing all of my recipes using this app.

If you have a phone and tablet you can then get the recipes automatically shared between the two, so you add a recipe using your phone, and it will automatically be available on your tablet, and vice versa. You can also choose to share your recipes with family members and friends. Just have the family member or friend download the same app, and then click on the people icon (top left) and select "Share my recipes" - this will generate a 6 digit code that is valid for 15 minutes. On the other device choose the same menu and select "Add shared recipes" where you are prompted to enter the 6 digit code. The recipes will be immediately available on the other device.

You can edit and remove recipes.

When you are viewing the recipe detail the application will disable the screen saver so the recipe remains on the screen for a period of 30 minutes.
