Flapboard Remote is the controller for Flapboard Display — the app that turns an iPad into a split-flap train-station board for your home.

From your iPhone or iPad, compose messages that flip onto the family board letter by letter, schedule them for later, track a flight, set the weather, curate quotes, and start countdowns. Whatever you change appears on the board within seconds, from the next room or another continent.

WHAT YOU CONTROL • Messages — write a note, send it now or schedule it for later; see what's queued and what was recently delivered • Flight — enter a flight number and date; the board shows live route, gate, and delay info • Weather — set a zip code and choose current conditions or today's forecast • Quotes — quote-of-the-day from a built-in library, or add your own collection • Countdown — pick the event and date; the board counts down the days • Boards — create more than one board and control each separately

GETTING STARTED

1. Download Flapboard Display on the iPad you want to become the board.
2. Create your account here in Flapboard Remote and start your free trial.
3. Sign in with the same account on the iPad, pick your board — done.

SUBSCRIPTION Flapboard requires a subscription: $3.99/month, or $39.99/year (two months free). Both include a 7-day free trial. One subscription covers your whole account — the Flapboard Display app is free. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
