WHY IT MATTERS

Most deposit disputes come down to one question: what did the place look like, and when? Photos on your phone can be dated by anyone. TenantKit gives every video and photo an independent cryptographic timestamp the moment you capture it, from a third-party authority — not from us, and not from your phone's clock.

Any later change to a file, even a single pixel, breaks that seal in a way anyone can check.

Film a walkthrough, room by room Record your place at move-in, at move-out, or any time in between. Narrate as you go. Each room is sealed automatically the moment you finish.

Report a problem, with proof you sent it Photograph a maintenance issue, describe it, and send it to your landlord. You'll see when the email is delivered, when the link is opened, and how much of your evidence was actually viewed.

Track your rent Set your rent amount and due day for reminders before rent is due, and keep a record of the months you've paid. Rent details never leave your phone.

Build an Evidence Record Produce a plain-language PDF covering everything, or just the part you need — one maintenance request, one walkthrough, your rent history. Every record states on its first page what it covers and what it leaves out, so a partial one can never be mistaken for the whole file.

Know your state's rules TenantKit includes deposit rules for 21 states, each citing the statute it came from, with the return deadline, whether an itemized list is required, and whether interest applies. More states are added over time. If yours isn't in yet, the app tells you so plainly instead of guessing, and everything else works exactly the same.

Keep it safe Turn on backup and your sealed videos and photos are copied to your own private vault, so losing your phone doesn't lose them.

No ads. No trackers. No analytics SDKs. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone. Your rent amount, due day and payment history never leave your device at all.

Filming, sealing, evidence records and rent tracking all work without an account. Signing in is optional and only enables backup and sending.
