Blood pressure & glucose sync,
If your monitor already sends readings to Apple Health, connect once and they come into your diary on their own. Log by hand too, and hand your doctor a clean PDF.
You may never have to type a reading again.
If your blood pressure monitor already sends its readings to the
Health app, connect Vitals Diary once — and from then on the numbers
come into your diary on their own. No re-typing, no tapping "import".
EVERYTHING BELOW IS FREE
YOUR READINGS COME IN ON THEIR OWN
• Connect the Health app once, from Settings
• Blood pressure and blood glucose that your monitor already sends
there come into your diary
• The pulse your monitor recorded with a blood pressure reading
comes in with it
• New readings arrive whenever you open the app — nothing to press
• Read-only: Vitals Diary never writes anything back into Health,
and never changes what is there
• Your phone asks which data you want to share. If blood pressure is
not on the list it shows you, the app tells you exactly where to
switch it on
NO MONITOR? LOG IN SECONDS
• Step-by-step entry with large wheels and big text
• Or a quick one-page form — your choice
• Blood pressure with pulse, left/right arm and before/after
medication tags
• Blood glucose in mg/dL or mmol/L, with fasting, after-meal and
bedtime tags
• Add a note to any entry
MEASURE YOUR HEART RATE WITH THE CAMERA
• Rest a fingertip on the rear camera for 15–25 seconds
• The number goes into your diary — that is all the app does with it
• No photo or video is taken, and nothing leaves your phone
YOUR OWN RANGES
• Set an upper and lower value for blood pressure, heart rate and
glucose — each one separately
• Entries outside a range you set get a small mark. That is a simple
comparison with numbers you chose yourself — the app never
interprets your readings
REMINDERS AND CHECK-INS
• Medication, blood pressure and glucose reminders
• A simple daily check-in bar shows what is done and what is next
HISTORY AT A GLANCE
• Recent entries in one list, with filters by type
• Entries that came in from the Health app carry a small source tag,
so you can always tell where a number came from
• Swipe an entry to edit or delete it
SETTING IT UP FOR A PARENT
• Large type, high contrast, and touch targets sized for older hands
• Do the setup once on their phone — choose the reminders, connect
the Health app, pick the entry style that suits them
• After that, saving a reading takes a couple of taps
• One person, one phone: this is their diary, kept on their device
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics
• Your health data stays on your phone
• Optional App Lock with Face ID or your passcode
GO FURTHER WITH PREMIUM
Everything above stays free. Premium adds:
• 30 and 90-day trend charts covering a full checkup cycle
(7-day trends are free forever)
• Your full history, back to your very first entry
• A clean PDF report of your records to hand to your doctor —
blood pressure, heart rate and glucose in one printable file
Vitals Diary records, reminds and displays the values you enter or
bring in. It does not interpret readings, does not diagnose, and is
not a medical device. Always consult your healthcare provider.
Premium is a subscription with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time
lifetime purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew; cancel anytime.
