Salah Sense counts which rak'ah you are on while you pray — using motion sensors with your phone in your pocket — and signals each rak'ah with a vibration. So you focus on your prayer without worrying about forgetting or losing count.

• Apple Watch — pray from your watch: pick the unit, lower your arm, no phone needed. The watch vibrates on every rak'ah and the whole screen takes that rak'ah's colour, so a glance tells you where you are. Prayer times, the dhikr counter and a watch-face complication are on the watch too. • Rak'ah counter — works with the phone in your pocket; you set the vibration's delay, length and repetition to suit you. • Prayer times — Diyanet, MWL, ISNA and other methods; calculated automatically for your location. Notifications and home screen widgets. • Qibla compass — points to the Kaaba and signals with a vibration when aligned. • Dhikr counter and qada (missed prayer) tracking. • Detailed statistics — charts classifying your prayers as preferred/on-time/disliked time, a monthly calendar, whether you prayed in congregation or alone, delay distribution and recommended-time information. • Traveler mode and Friday layout.

The app is still being developed. Rak'ah counting is continuously tested and improved against real prayer recordings, and counting on Apple Watch is still in beta. There may be gaps and mistakes. If you run into a problem, write to us and we will fix it quickly.
