PT Field

PT Field is the technician app for Protection Technologies. It puts your assigned work, the parts staged for it, and your time on every job in one place — built for the van, the riser room, and the basements where signal disappears.

Requires a Protection Technologies account. Access is issued by your office.

YOUR DAY See every job assigned to you, on a timeline or as a list, for today, tomorrow, or any date. Each card shows the customer, site, scheduled window, and current job status, so you know where you're going before you open anything.

GET THERE The job map plots your day's sites and hands off to turn-by-turn directions. Tap a pin or swipe through your stops.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE JOB Open a job for the scope of work, site access notes, the full address, and tap-to-call site contacts. Review the task checklist, staged materials, attachments, and the running note history from the office and the warehouse.

TIME ON THE JOB Clock in when you start and out when you finish. Your timer keeps running if the app closes or the phone restarts, and your hours land on the job card the office bills from. The Timesheet tab shows today's total and the clock history behind every job.

PARTS, START TO FINISH When the warehouse stages material for your job, you're notified. Check off each item as you load it, and flag a wrong count to the warehouse before you leave the counter. At the end of the day, report what you installed, what's coming back, what was damaged, and what's still on your truck — the app won't let the numbers disagree.

CUSTOMER EQUIPMENT Search the site's asset register by type, name, or serial. Log a device you installed with the fields that device type actually requires, attach it to the job you're on, and review its service history.

WORKS WHERE THE SIGNAL DOESN'T Clock-outs, parts pickups, and end-of-day reports are saved on your phone and delivered when you're back in range. Nothing silently disappears, and the app tells you plainly when something couldn't refresh instead of showing you an empty screen.

BUILT AROUND YOUR PERMISSIONS What you see follows the security group your office assigns you. Technicians see their own work; leads see more.

LOCATION PT Field asks for location the first time you clock into a job. While a job clock is running and the app is open, it sends your location to your company's CRM about every 90 seconds so dispatch knows where crews are. Clocking out stops it. Signing in, viewing your schedule, or opening the job map does not share your location
