Every place here is voted in by the people who eat there. Vegan, ovo, lacto and allium tag independently. Closed shops turn grey, not invisible.

Every restaurant in HerbMeet was found, checked and voted in by the people who eat at them.

WHERE THE DATA IS Coverage is built entirely by the people using the app, so it is dense in some areas and empty in others. If your area is blank, nobody has added anything there yet — you can be the first.

TAGS AREN'T A SINGLE CHOICE A place that serves vegan, ovo and lacto dishes carries all three tags. Contains-allium and also-serves-meat are marked separately. Nothing gets forced into the one category it fits least badly.

CLOSED PLACES TURN GREY, THEY DON'T DISAPPEAR A shop that shuts stays on the map in grey rather than being deleted — so you know something used to be there, and so someone can report that it has reopened.

THE MAP IS MAINTAINED TOGETHER Wrong tag, shop closed down? Anyone can propose a correction. Corrections take effect only after enough votes, and they must come from different people — no single account decides a listing.

NO ADS, NO SUBSCRIPTION There are no ads and no subscription. If you want to put more in, you can choose to support the project and carry a little more weight when voting — but the rule above still holds: more weight still needs someone else to agree.

A NOTE ON THE LANGUAGE The interface follows your system language. Restaurant names and addresses stay in Chinese — that's what's written on the sign, copied down by whoever added the place. Translating it would make the shop harder to find once you're standing in front of it.
