Dog Heart Log is a daily record book for dog parents caring for a dog with heart disease. Record and organize resting respiratory rate, cough observations, weight, medication, vet visit notes, and lab values - all in one place, all on your device.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Count and log breathing Tap to count your dog's resting or sleeping breaths, record the date and time. You are simply logging numbers - the app never judges what they mean.

Note cough and observations When you see a cough or other signs, tag it (cough, fainting, rapid breathing, other) and jot down what was happening. Those details matter when you talk to your vet.

Keep medication and health records Log daily medication doses, weight, and heart exam values you heard at vet visits (heart rate, VHS, LA/Ao, NT-proBNP, blood pressure). Everything is easy to find later.

Look back with charts Review your entries in timeline charts. Charts simply plot the points you recorded - the app never grades or judges the numbers.

Notes from your vet Keep a note of the resting respiratory rate target, target weight, and next appointment date you heard from your vet, and show them as reference lines on your charts. These are your notes of your vet's guidance - never standards set by this app.

Gather and share Collect your entries into a PDF report or CSV file, ready to show your vet at the next visit. The report is a tidy summary of the owner's own records.

Reminders Get a notification at the times you choose, saying simply "Time for (the name you set)." Reminders help you stay on track with daily logging and medications.

PRIVACY Everything you record stays on your device. The app performs no network communication and collects no data at all (its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected").
